So lonely sometimes,

yearning toward each other.

So near,so far

We're hurting Lord,

Heal us.

Let cheeks be radiant again and warm,

Let us hear those belly laughs,

Let the looks and touches of love be tender,

Let us be gentle with each other and patient with ourselves.

Spring us loose from yesterday to trust tomorrow,

know that in all we are and do,

You are with us to the end and to the beginning again.

Hold us close and set us free to hold,

each other and to let each other go.
