So many people controlled by fear
Because they don’t know that Jesus is near
So many don’t know that he lives
So many don’t know the life he gives
So many don’t know that God is love
That he is everywhere not just above
They don’t know that perfect love casts out fear
Oh how I wish they knew Jesus is near
I wish they knew the love I found
When he began to release all that bound
When he lifted me from the darkest pit
He began to change me bit by bit
When he wiped away all my tears
Why are so many bound by fear?
Because they don’t know Jesus is near...
They just don’t see HIS light
That shows us the WAY...
