Salvation through Jesus Christ Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship with the God of the universe. All other religions are similar in that one has to do something or become something in order to find God. These religions claim one has to work their way to God, or that one has to work their way to become a god. It was the religious people who crucified Jesus. Only the God of the Holy Bible says "I, the LORD, invite you to come and talk it over. Your sins are scarlet red, but they will be whiter than snow or wool." (Isaiah 1:18) The Bible also says "You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own. It isn't something you have earned, so there is nothing you can brag about. (Ephesians 2:8,9) When you accept the salvation that Jesus offers you it is only the beginning of your new life. Jesus said "If you want to save your life, you will destroy it. But if you give up your life for me and for the good news, you will save it. What will you gain, if you own the whole world but destroy yourself? What could you give to get back your soul? Don't be ashamed of me and my message among these unfaithful and sinful people! If you are, the Son of Man will be ashamed of you when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." (Mark 8:35-38) Believe and accept Jesus Christ into your heart and you can begin a new life in Christ now. "Anyone who belongs to Christ
is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is
new." Pray the prayer below to begin a new life in Christ. "For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13) "But without faith no one can please God. We must believe that God is real and that he rewards everyone who searches for him." (Hebrews 11:6) The LORD is near to all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.(Psalms 145:18-19) "So you will be saved, if you honestly say, 'Jesus is Lord,' and if you believe with all your heart that God raised him from death. God will accept you and save you, if you truly believe this and tell it to others. The Scriptures say that no one who has faith will be disappointed" (Romans 10:9-11) SALVATION PRAYER Lord Jesus I believe that you are the Son of God and you came to earth as a man to suffer and die to pay the penalty for my sins, and I believe that you rose from the dead and you are alive now. I confess that I have sinned against you and against people, and I pray that you will forgive me and wash me clean, through the blood that you shed on the cross. I give my life to you to do your will. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit and with your love and compassion for people, I pray all these things in Jesus name, Amen. If you prayed that prayer from your heart your name is written in heaven and you are now a citizen for eternity.
