I hope you will enjoy the poetry just a fraction as much
as she did writing it. She loved writing all her life.
She wrote from personal experiences, and her love for God.
She enjoyed sharing with all, and had some published in
the newspapers etc.
Please do not copy any of my grandmothers poems
without first getting my permission. I have given

My mother wrote this for Mamaw on her birthday.(9-15-78)
To Mother:
Was ever a Mother so loving?
Was ever a Mother so kind?
Was ever one more uplifting?
None ever more than mine!
Was ever a Mother more giving?
With thoughts of family in mind-
Was ever a Mother more noble?
None ever more than mine!
Was ever a mother more blessed-
With God's presence?
Never a Mother more worthy
Than is the Mother of mine.
