It is written in the prophets,
And they shall be all taught of God.
John 6:45
God is not glorified in defeated children. Thus, if you are not experiencing victory, you just might fit in that category. Perhaps you have already realized there has to be a better way ... and there is.
The Bible is our personal 'How-to' book, providing everything we need to know for overcoming whatever ails so we can enjoy the abundant living God desires for us. Only, traditional methods of study are not the same as those given in scripture. So, it is no wonder there are so many contradicting doctrines.
But especially, if you have felt persecution while attempting to follow God, you will appreciate Him guiding, encouraging, and validating you via these methods of study; which are all scriptural based. And, the following promise still holds true.
If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek
my face, and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven, and will
forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
