Is Jesus Risen, or Not?

Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly; and gave himself a ransom for all. David, seeing this before, spake of the resurrection of Christ; that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen. And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. (Preach peace by Jesus Christ: he is Lord of all.) Christ in you is the hope of glory. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him.
