we greet you in the blessed name of JesuS Christ the lamb that was slain before the foundations of the world!
We, want to take just a brief moment to give you a warm welcome to the "Gift of Love" Ministry
We are here to serve, help and encourage you, in becoming the absolutely best husband and wife you could possibly be.
The first thing (and perhaps most essential) aspect of marriage we wouild like to relate to you, is that the marriage bond, the entire institution of marriage is a type or symbol of the relationship that the church (ekklesia) shares with "Jesus Christ", who is referred to or alluded to, as the Bridegroom, (Isaiah 61:10, 62:5, Matthew 25:1, John 3:29.) and the "Church," or the "Body of Christ", as His "Bride"(Joel 2:16, Revelation 2 1:9, Revelation 22:17.) also the term,
"A Chaste Virgin,"which Paul used to describe the high esteem and great love that Christ holds for the Body of Christ (II Corinthians 11:2, also Ephesians 5:28,) which summarizes what we are illustrating here.
As you can see thus far beloved, the marriage bond is one of great magnitude, or importance to God. (who by the way created the institution of marriage for His own glory and honor.) this beloved, is why God hates divorce, (Malachi 2:14-16) and encourages and desires reconciliation between husband and wife. Divorce typifies a separating or breaking away from God, and ( each other), and reconciliation symbolizes us being restored to full fellowship with our Creator, and (with each other).
When two people are walking together in unity, and in perfect harmony as one, in obedience to the will of God, then marriage, is the most beautiful, wonderous GIFT, that a man or woman could ever possess here on earth; next to the GIFT OF SALVATION. It requires a mutal submission, love, patience, temperance, joy, meekness, self control, faith, all the fruit of the Spirit. Each must GIVE 110% of him or her self, and keeping Jesus Christ first in all things, to make the marriage sucessful.
"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us unto Him be glory in the church of Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end." Ephesians 3:20.
