YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL !
We have been showing how the tending of the garden is the same way men needed to invest in cultivating their wives into a beautiful flower.
We talked about how the husband is like unto a hubandman or gardener, and that men should love their wives and build them up and edify them, as a gardener does his garden and Christ does with His Church.
Now we are going to look at the wives and how they are to be, like the church is to be, to the Bridegroom, Jesus Christ.
     SUBMISSION
The bible says that the woman is too submit to her husband.
Like it or not the bible is very adamant about submission. Because today society says it is old fashioned, or that there have been too many abuses, does not change what it says in the bible.
1 Pet:3:1-4
Likewise ye wives be in submission to your own husbands; that if any do not obey the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversations of the wives.
It goes on to say in verse 3&4: Do not let your beauty be that outward adorning, of arranging the hair, of wearing gold, or of putting on of fine apparel; but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible even the ornament of a meek and quiet Spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price..

Now to compare to the church, we are to submit to Christ, in everything. we are to honor and revere Him, we are to make ourselves ready for Him
In verse 4 and 5:For after this manner in the old time the holy women also , who trusted God, adorned themselves being in subjection to their own husbands.It goes on in verse 5: EVen as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him Lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

Sarah actually called Abraham Lord. In Ephesians 5:22-24 it tells us:
Wives submitt yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and is the savior of the body.. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in EVERY THING.
It honors God for us to submit to the husband He gave us. Just as the church submits to Christ. If you submit to your husband and faithfully commit to pray for him. God will do the rest in teaching him to love you.
I want you to observe in 1 Peter 3:5 where it talks about Sarah submitting to Abraham and also calling him Lord..
this is to revere him, as it says in Ephesians 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband..
It is reverential fear of the wife for her husband. AWE. Respect.
        REVERE YOUR HUSBAND
This is what the Proverbs 31 did for her husband.. By her very life she reverenced her husband and the Lord. she brought him honor at the gates by her life, her diligence, and her faithfulness. It said in Proverbs 31:31:Give her the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates.
It dishonors God and our husbands when we live our life carelessly without the fear of the Lord. A wife is a precious jewel that the husband is to cherish as his treasure. We are only a jewel when we like the Proverbs 31 woman, honors our husband by our life, with reverence, submitting unto him as unto Christ..
Proverbs 31:10:-12
Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies, the heart of her husband safely trusts in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good not evil all the days of her life.
The sole responsibility the wife has to the husband that God has given her, is to submit to him and to reverence him. As we the church are to do for our husband Jesus Christ.
DO THIS AND YOU TRULY WILL BE BEAUTIFUL !!
