A Prophecy for this age.
The world as we know it has come full circle
back to the days of Genesis, before the flood. Mankind was
only continually evil all of the time, and it grieved God that
he made man. God was going to wipe out man who he made because
his heart was so grieved, but he found one man that was
righteous in his sight. But God did not spare the entire world
for one man. |

But as the days of Noe
were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating
and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day
that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood
came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of
the Son of man be. Matthew 24:37-39 |

God gave Noe instructions to build an Ark (a
way, salvation), for the coming flood, and Noe did as God
said. Noe was a man that God could spare, to continue mankind
on the earth because God loved man that he made. The earth had
not known rains or floods at that time because the earth was
watered by a mist that came from the ground up. We can
speculate that Noe was taunted and mocked as he built the
Ark. The scriptures tell us that the people were eating,
drinking, and making merry while he was building the Ark. They
probably made up songs about crazy Noe and sang them at their
parties.
And then, suddenly, the water began to fall from
the sky above. We can further speculate, the same people that
mocked Noe might have been the first in line banging on the
door of the Ark screaming for Noe to let them in. But it was
too late. The earth was flooded for 40 days and the
inhabitants and animals were destroyed.
For about 2,000 years, since the death and
resurection of the holy Son of God, mankind is awaiting
the return of the Son as promised, and sin and evil are
abounding on the earth. The scriptures of the Holy Bible tell
us that he will return to the earth, and that his feet will
touch the Mount called Olives in the same way that he went up
into heaven. However, prior to His coming an abominable thing
will happen which will cause great distress and tribulation on
earth as it has never been in the history of the world, and
will never be again. Will God again provide an Ark?
God is the same, yesterday, today, and forever,
and He changes not. Throughout all the examples in the
compilation of books and letters that we call the Holy Bible,
God has always saved his people before judgement and
destruction. This is patterened throughout the Holy
Bible. Knowing this, and knowing that God never changes, we
can be sure that God will save his people before these
great distresses come upon the earth.
Some call this saving event the Rapture. The
scriptures say: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven
with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the
trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we
which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one
another with these words. I Thes
4:16-18
How is mankind different now than in the days of
Genesis? Can you safely take a walk at night? Can you leave
your wallet on the dashboard of your car with the windows
down? Will you let your children play by themselves at the
playground? Of course not. But safety is our main issue in
daily life - and security is second nature. We are bombarded
with "security" because we live in a world that is
overabundant in distrust because of the evil in the world. So,
it doesn't take a rocket scientist to recognize evil when we
are faced with evil every day of our lives.
The Lord will change us in a twinkling of an
eye, and we will be caught up with him in the air.
Will the angels come for you? Will they gather you up to
the Lord? Have you recognized your need for God and do you
believe on the one that he sent, Jesus? Now is the time to
repent (repent means to turn away from) from *self, and self
seeking* and seek the forgiveness of God. All sin can be
forgiven. Every mistake you ever made, bad word or wrong
thought that you ever did can be forgiven for the asking
through Jesus Christ who paid the penalty for all your sins
with his own blood. He purchased your soul the day he died.
But, if you don't get your redemption from Him you will be
lost, and he will have died in vain for you. That is
why the unbelieving will suffer eternal punishment in hell ~
because God gave his only begotten son to die, and pay the
punishment for our sin, and if we don't believe that, and act
on that by repenting and believing what God said, then his son
and God's Ark was all for nothing for you. That is the
unforgivable sin.
So what should you do to be saved? It's
very simple. God made it so simple that a little child could
enter into the kingdom of God. In fact, whoever doesn't come
to God as a little child won't enter in. If you, by faith,
believe on Jesus Christ you will be saved. Whoever calls on
the name of the Lord will be saved. This is the work of God,
that you believe on the one whom he sent. Verily,
verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when
the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that
hear shall live. John 5:25 |

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days
scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is
the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep,
all things continue as they were from the beginning of the
creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the
word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing
out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then
was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens
and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in
store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and
perdition of ungodly men.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one
day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years
as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as
some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not
willing that any should perish, but that all should come to
repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in
the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a
great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat,
the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned
up. 2 Peter 3:3-10
