Choices! Choices! Choices! We live in a land of freedom. A land of choices.There's a lot that we can do. There are many channels that l can choose from on satelite TV. There are several places I can eat tonight. There are books on every subject. The Internet can take me just about anywhere I want to go. I'll say it again. There is a lot that we can do.
But what should I do? What must I do? That is an important question!Even for youth ministry. There are books galore dealing with youth ministry.There are seminars to attend and websites to visit. There are ideas for fundraisers,games, activities, etc. But what is essential? What is non-negotiable in youth ministry? What should I do? What must I do?
In the months to follow, I hope to help you answer that question. What should be priority in youth ministry? Is it building a huge youth group? Is it having the coolest church in town? What is essential? This is a question I have wrestled with. It is one that I still wrestle with. I hope this will be beneficial to you.
