WHERE EAGLES SOAR!
Dear Lord, I sure would like to soar high,
Like an eagle where mountains seem to touch the sky!
High above the clouds of doubt and fear,
All thought of the world below would disappear!
I want to feel the Mighty Rushing Wind in my wings,
As I mount up to the throne of the King of Kings!
For you see, I've been so long here on the ground,
And eagles aren't made to just walk around!
An eagle is made to soar,
Away up high above the Earth's floor!
I Became earthbound because of a fall.
It sure looked like "I had lost it all."
Yes, I did a very foolish thing,
Which resulted in my having a broken wing.
At the time I was flying high and all alone!
I unwisely thought I could make it on my own.
That's when I was hit by satan's fiery dart,
Which found its mark upon my heart.
Then I started spinning 'round and 'round.
But, You quickly caught me e'er I touched the ground!
There were times when I saw others fall.
Who never made it back to God at all.
But, thank God through Your amazing grace,
In my situation, that was not the case.
Upon God's arm I have learned once again to depend!
And my wing has been on the mend!
Today, I felt great and I could tell,
That my wing was completely well!
So, when I heard God's beckoning cry,
I slowly began to fly!
Then, once again I began to soar
Never to be earthbound any more!

COME IN FROM THE COLD!
Come in from Life's storm.
Inside you'll be warm!
You don't have to shiver in the cold!
Come meet the Shepherd of the sheep!
Your soul He will keep,
And you won't ever stray from His fold!
I know you've been abused,
And quite often misused.
But, Jesus is looking for folks like you!
For although your world is torn apart,
He will mend your broken heart,
And make you over anew!
Today is your day!
There's no time for delay.
Listen closely, He's calling your name!
See the smile on Jesus' face,
Once you accept His grace,
You'll never ever be the same!
You see, I was once like you.
I had sinned against God too.
I was miserable as I could be.
Ah, but Jesus said, "Child, I understand!"
So, I gladly took His outstretched hand,
And He wonderfully set me free!
